So a few days ago, Microsoft ended support for Windows XP 2 years ago. And I am curious, while it's no longer getting security updates, it's not as safe to use as it use to be, and it's outdated so not all apps work on it anymore, would you still use it. I personally still use it, but not on a daily basis. I am a sucker for previous tech over the latest stuff as I love the interface better. Of course, I got antivirus (Even though I hear it's not fully effective on an unsupported operating system), and use Firefox. So I still use it being careful what I do on it. So do you still use it. And if you don't, would you still use it?

Why would you still use XP? it is so antiquated and there is so much better stuff in newer windows versions that also looks way better. I think people using XP just aren't willing to accept change. New things come out, learn the new things.

I haven't used a machine running XP in a long time, even though I still have one for some reason granted it hasn't been turned on in about 5 years. I'm not sure how I would feel about keeping a lot of sensitive information on a old machine like that but, I would be ok using one for just internet surfing and playing games and stuff.

In my opinion, I like what is in Windows XP. It has everything I want and nothing I don't want. And in my opinion, I think it looks better (BUT THAT'S MY OPINION!!!). I think It's still useful today and I will continue to use it as long as I can find use for it.

You have your opinion and I respect that, but the UI is so outdated.

XP has always been slow for me, but that's probably because I've only ever used it with old computers :P

I actually like the Windows XP-7 start menu better as it is more simplified and has everything I need. Of course I can just edit the Windows 10 start menu, but I like that start menu.

It's the same god damn thing with Windows 10. People need to grow up and move on from Windows 7, and especially 8.1.

yeah its very simple, and basic. On something like windows 10 all those buttons you love are there, they just look different and come with way more options and better implementations. Give it a go!

I do use Windows 10 and I do use the start menu and it is quite functional, but I just like the older one better. But Windows 10's start menu (And Windows 10) are not bad, I just prefer the older stuff better.

I don't use XP anymore but not for lack of trying. I tried installing XP on a VM a while back without any luck. Make sure you do the registry hack to get security patches until 2019.
