intel i7 WHICH DO I CHOOSE

Intel cpus... Which one to choose... I thought I should go for an intel i7 6700k but I think not now. I am creating a workstation/awesomeopgamingpc so I think I should have some good specs. I need to render video and stuff so I should get what cpu here? or is AMD (the wet smelly dog) the answer for me? Glory to INTEL!

I have a problem with people. The only things I like are 787Bs and PCs.

Depends on pricing, among other things. 

 

If you can, the i7 5820k is the way to go. 

 

If budget is an issue, take a look at some Xeons, as you are getting a dedicated GPU anyways.

Agreed with the above, though from many retailers a 5820K/X99 system may be within $20 or so of a 6700K/Z170 system. In that case I don't see much reason to go with Skylake. Pricing has gotten kind of awkward lately.
