Recommend me speakers

Go to solution Solved by akskl,

Maybe the Logitech Z506? I'm no audiophile, but they seem good.

I really like these speakers, and if you know any better ones, then please suggest :)

http://www.amazon.com/Creative-Inspire-51MF0415AA002-Speaker-System/dp/B009T9YUZE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1460393199&sr=8-1&keywords=optical+speakers

But there is a problem. I wanted to have a headphone jack on the speaker so i can plug my headphones into them when I need to, and unplug them, etc..

Otherwise, it looks really nice! (price and review wise)

Preferably if you suggest a speaker I would like it to have a subwoofer

My computer mobo has an optical audio output on it, and if you guys know any speakers that support this, do post

I want the speakers to sound really, really nice, while not exceeding 50-70$

OFF TOPIC: I suggest every poll from now on to have "**CK EA" option instead of "Other"

just a possible solution to the headphone thing if you cant find one with a headphone/mic input you can always just grab one of those headphone splitter and rca splitters

I have them, they are very good. There is a dedicated bass control on the sub, too, which is good for either  not bothering others, or for really making explosions boom if you wish.

Oh and just to note, my desktop is wood with glass on it, so I am afraid if i boost the bass too high, then it will shatter

Right. I think you've got a while to go. $50 to $70 speakers won't break anything.

Sorry to disappoint. It's not Mythbusters... it's a bunch of hooligans with massive subwoofers in a hatchback. The bass is so extreme that it starts causing the windshield to bend.

Yeah, takes a lot to break glass.

Like they have competitions to have the loudest sound systems in cars ( not with people inn them as they would go deaf) and these still don't break the glass. Some do shake apart parts of the car.

Glass is strong, sound is not.

It's generally a noise made by amplification products. Sometimes it's really quiet if there are nice cross over components in the speakers, and sometimes it's really loud. Buzzing could also be a ground loop issue, but this is generally not common with lower powered amps.

I wouldn't fret over it too much. Even my monster Yamaha receiver hums a little bit, but I can't hear it when the speakers are going.
