There is also no discernible pump noise.

So you're saying that the pump does not make that annoying pump "rattling noise"? If you own the original H100 you might know what i'm talking about. It sounds sort of like a harddrive reading/writing data.

I bought my H100i the same day they were released on newegg. There is no pump noise on the H100i like the H100 it is silent and I mean silent. The H100i works really good the only problem I have had with it so far is last week the LED's for the corsair logo on the pump started messing up. I had the color on the pump Yellow and now it is a bright orange. I found out why it did it. the H100i has RGB to make the colors The green led is starting to go out on it and thats why it turned orange. all in all its a great cooler but not having the color I want on the pump does bother me a bit.

Yeah some pictures would be great :) also if you could set it up in excel it would make the review, becasue you get a better overview.

But still think the h220 from swifttech is a better product at that price (temps)

one note of concern about the H100i is theres a software/firmware bug at the moment that corsair is working on, many (myself included) the link software only works once to set color and fan speed after that it just does nothing, theres many forum topics in theyr website about it

Yes coil whine will be an issue if you buy this product. Some are having more than others, as for me I will be ripping this cooler out if the noise does not go away with new firmware updates. Glad to see an actual user review mentioning coil whine, to bad the pro reviewers dont mention this in their reviews. Building my first Gaming Rig and so far disappointed with noise from this cooler.

Nice review! Could do with some pictures and how much of a change in temp over stock cooler would be good also.

Also, to anyone thinking of uying one of these, I would suggest waiting for the swiftech h220.

Adding on to what Rhizo said. The h220 is superior to the h100i as it allows you to expand your loop as you please. If you watched Linus' video, it was a few degrees cooler than the h100i and a tad bit higher with 2 gtx 680s + CPU being watercooled since the pump is stronger. If you think you will run a loop, the h220 should be the AIO for you. But if you want to save some money, you can get the h100i, which is still an amazing AIO.

when i plug my 2 fans to the Y-Connecter and then into the fan header directly on the H100i, i cant seem to control the fan speeds through the link software. Is it just me or anyone else?
No its not just you, mine is doing the same thing. Just have to sit tight for now until Corsair releases a new update. I love the design, but their software is lacking.

Please correct me where I am wrong!
Also mounts on AM3+. Even retailers don't put that. I guess it's because you assume it does if it mounts on AM3 ;). Nice review

I have an h100i and its a great cooler but I changed my fans to the NF-F12 because the stock ones were too loud. My 3770k running at 4.6 at the fans lowest setting I was hitting really hot temps like 80c+ (maybe its just my cpu). The logo color changing is cool and I like the setting where you can set the colors to your temps so like if the cpu hits 70c+ its red and if its less the 40c its blue. You must of not run into the problems I had with Corsair link. That program is terrible. When I was trying to set up the rpm of my fans the whole program would bug out and then I couldn't control my fans anymore or change the color. I found out online you have re install to fix it. I had to re install the Corsair link 3 or 4 times just to set the fans up the way I liked it. In the middle of changing settings it would just break and stop reading RPMs. So I use the ASUS FAN Xpert 2 works so much better.

The pump is very quiet. I seen a lot of post wondering about the pump noise. I have a 650D with stock fan and the NF-f12 on quiet settings. Only way I can hear my pump is to stick my head inside the case.

re install the Corsiar link. That is how I fixed mine. I have to re install 3 to 4 times to get my fans set up. I suggesting using another fan controller.
