Yes, I´m aware. YOU should be aware that that´s still no measure for the internal component quality of the unit.

It´s called the S12II or the XXB9 by Seasonic and XFX respectively.

Alright guys, I didn't start this topic for an argument to start. This was started to find a compatible AIO.

Yeah, you kinda get used to it on this forum. A Blue Ray Reader was a requirement for your build correct?

oh yeah forgot that. you have got 2 140mm fan spots which are offset from the motherboard so vrm clearance isnt a big issue.

any 240mm or 280mm aio should fit.

2nd fan to improve air flow. Case comes with one, so set it up that one fan is intake while the other is outtake. Make sure the intake one is pulling air in faster than the outtake one.

Awesome, thanks man. That's what I figured, but in the description on newegg it said something about using only slim rads there.

Don´t forget, this just means the case will fit it. We don´t know whether the motherboard with have clearance for it.

the xeon is a good idea as well. but with 22nm at 3.8ghz i would really use an aftermarket cooler. honestly i think with a 1000$ budget you cant go over a 390/970 if your reasonable with the rest of the build

*Edit: also he needs another sata cable if he uses a blu-ray drive

I´m assuming your talking about the 1231v3´s turbo boost speed? Because if so, the stock cooler will still be more than sufficient for that. It´s only when you start ocing chips that you should look into aftermarket coolers for temps. And what about the rest of the build isn´t reasonable? B85 board with 4 rams slots, decent psu, ssd with hdd for mass storage, 16gbs of ram, and an extra fan. The lowest point of the build would be the case, which is meh.

You wouldn't drop anything, you would order a 50 cent sata cable and be just fine

And to get the base price under 1000, should I lower the power supply.

You should, if anything, get a better quality psu. You can drop the cooler since it´s a locked cpu, and get something better than a 960.

What do yall think about this list?

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/W4DFwP

the motherboard is really overkill. you have no k-cpu so you dont need a z170 board. it just doesnt improve performance.

that cooler looks really good i never saw such low rpm's

also the ram is way to expensive. i mean ram fails so rarely.

get something better than a 960

I really like HyperX memory, its what I have and its great ram. I could step down to 2133 and that drops 20 bucks. I also like this cooler too, I was thinking about using it in a new budget build for myself, so I thought I would shove it in here. What board, powersupply, and card would yall suggest.
