Possible Rig upgrade

Hey guys, what do you think of this rig I have been researching the possibility of building?

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/BtWPbv

I don't plan on gaming on it at present, so the GPU I have there is just an old one I have laying around that I can use. Also, I don't really need the NVME 950 pro SSD I have selected there, but figured I may as well go balls deep if I'm doing it anyway, lol

Anything you would change?  see any short-comings?

I'm still sticking with air cooling for now as I like that cooler and is very quiet, but will take suggestions on-board as long as it remains a quiet choice as I have to live with this in by bedroom. When/if I build this my current rig (see sig), will be used as the NAS then with some WD reds installed... might possibly use it for transcoding also, but ATM have no need of transcoding as I make all my media compatible with all the devices that would be using them anyway.

I don't really need suggestions on another build, thanks anyway :)

This is just going to replace my main rig and I use it for many things, but most of them come down to CPU resources which is why I have planned on buying the used xeon. I re-code video quite a lot, but not enough to warrant buying an expensive GPU, the xeon should be enough to make the task quicker I think. ATM I use intel quicksync feature in handbrake, but figure having 24 threads should overtake the quicksync feature by some margin... Anyone have experience of this that can chime in?

It's not all I use it for by any means, and for the cost that I can get the xeon for would definitely be better than a 4 core i7 skylake CPU.

Yeah, that would be nice, but don't think I'll be able to afford those chips as used ones will take a while to come to market also.

Have just realised this is an engineering sample that I was looking at, so this plan is kaput now :(

I will just keep a lookout for the future... I think i7 6700k would be a mistake for me to upgrade considering the chip I have now. I'll keep a look out in the future for a nice workstation build.
