Since the processor is one that you can't overclock, you should go for a H motherboard instead of a Z motherboard. Also, if you could maybe spend ~$50 to get a 950 instead of a 750 Ti then I'd go for that.

One more thing, do you have another hard drive? I doubt 120GB would last for a while. If not, I recommend you get a simple WD Blue 1TB Hard Drive. ~$50 in US.

Novus Anima

PSU - EVGA 650W G2 | Peripherals - Logitech G710, Logitech G602

MacBook Pro Mid-2011

Surface Pro 3

i would recommend getting a core 2 dou for mincraft. supposedly the i5 can't handle the bigger pixels. im assuming its because of the bigger l2 cache

Yes for decent gaming most games at high to highest settings at 30 fps. (My friend owns that EXACT build but hs has a 1tb hdd (which I recommend). Also is should play ark on medium possible high with over clocking. meduim to high on gtav and full on mine craft and csgo (my friend plays all those games)

I have an Anet A8 as my project printer and a i3 MK3 for when I want things to work.

I extrude my own filament and haven't saved a penny yet.

My PC:

Yes I would provide a good experience with quite nice graphics in the games listed. I run the same settings as my friend and notice that games are enjoyable with a card similar to that (r7 260x). And yes add a 1tb hard drive to store your games.

How so? I belive it is a nice budget rig with a good upgrade path for the gpu.

It's overpriced. If you build it yourself, its fine.

i7 4790k | MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition | G.Skill Ripjaws X 16 GB | Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB | 2x Seagate Barracuda 2TB | MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozr V | Fractal Design R4 | EVGA 650W

A gaming PC for your budget: $800 - $1000 - $1500 - $1800 - $2600 - $9001

Let me break it down

i5 4690 is bad value. i5 4460 or i5 6400 are better in this regard - delivering the same perforamance for less money
he didn't list a PSU which makes me worry is a pile of tosh
It's a Z-board for a non-K CPU - waste and useless
16GB of RAM is pointless
750 Ti is not good enough anymore, especially for GTA V
V300 are the WORST SSDs on the market. Period.
Buying windows full price is flat out retarded

I agree there. Prebuilt systems are almost never cheaper than building it yourself.
