Okay so what are you looking for in this build? Does the case/looks of the build matter a lot? Or are you looking for pure performance on the dollar? Also do you need a really powerful CPU for other programs you will be using, or is this strictly for gaming and you need the single most powerful GPU for the dollar? Also are you okay with buying used parts?

PC's are very personal machines (hence PC - Personal Computers), they should be put together for what the owner has in mind.

GPU: XFX RX 7900 XTX

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D

Now, that i3 isn't going to do a lot more than game, but it will game damn well for the price.

In a year or so, when you find more money you can easily upgrade to an i5 for longevity. or you can drop the extra cash now for the i5 since there's still room in the budget.

Performance on the dollar is what I need, I dont care how it looks like. MatLab and programs like that... not to many games but I need to run games respectably.

Thanks
