I'd say yes: simply because the loop alone is worth 1000$ if you buy it new. I estimate that the system was about 2500-3000$ new plus working hours. considering the fact that all of the components are not that outdated in terms of performance, 1000$ is fair

1000$ for that plus keyboard and mouse is a STEAL! And a custom watercooled loop to boot. Get it.

Just raw specs, it's an amazing deal! However, if you don't know/want to deal with a custom watercooling loop, it'll be a pain in the ass if something goes wrong or if you have to bleed the system.

i7 3770k will perform quite ok, it sit a bit below the i5 6600k, and with a full custom watercooling loop you can overclock it quite well too.

In DX11 games, a 290x sit slightly below a GTX 970 and R9 3xx is basically R9 2xx rebrand with better power consumption, so yeah, 290x is still quite good. It will however draw alot of power (nothing that 1000W PSU cant do) and is hotter than current gen card, but again, watercooling loop so it's fine.

buy it already...even if you get the parts for a 1000 dollars, the hardpipe work will have to be paid for anyway unless you are willing to slog it out....

Its a fantastic price ...nuff said

watercooling maintainance is easy enough to understand....and even if it wasnt, there is still no reason to not snap up this deal...

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

An easy steal. Read on the water cooling, and enjoy a machine that should have costed you a butt ton more.

You will demolish anything you want in 1080P. that 3770k will OC nice with that custom loop, and you will destroy stress tests.
