Safe way to split a dynamic drive in Windows?

I was wondering if there was a way to split up a dynamic drive in windows without wiping the other drive. I have two one terabyte drives put together into one dynamic drive in windows. I have only ~600 Gb of drive space used so I assume one of the drives is not used. I want to split them up and use one of them as a Linux partition, problem is they are named the same thing so I can't tell them apart. I also only have a 500 Gb backup drive so I can't backup all my data to wipe them and reformat them.

half of the files are on one drive the rest are on the other. You will have to back stuff up one way or another.

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

Thank you, didn't realize it was spread across both.
