Best Windows OS when it comes to gaming

Fatman Jo

So this question has probably been asked like a billion times, but I'm still unclear regarding the issue. I've always been using Windows 7 since 2012 and I never really bothered to switch to Windows 8. Now that Windows 10 has been out for quite some time, would it be necessary to change my OS? I mean how much impact does operating system really have on the current games we are playing? Are there any differences in performances between Win7,8 and 10 when ti strictly comes to gaming?

My Specs:

CPU;AMD FX-6100 Processor

GPU:Sapphire R7 370 2GB

RAM:8GB of DDR3 AT 1600MHz

HDD: Toshiba 1TB

You may get 2 or 3 FPS gain if you switch to Windows 10

ive switched to windows 10 since it released (from win 7), no regrets :P

gaming performance improved slightly

it consumes less ram (atleast for me)

and it feels much more responsive

also, windows 10 supports dx12 xD

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

Direct X 12 is a must for games in the future, and that is perhaps the only advantage from windows 10...so i guess windows 10 it is then ....go through this video after you install it though..

Win10 for DX12 and a slight boost in gaming performance. When I upgraded my laptop from 8.1 to 10 my RAM usage went from 4GB down to 3.1GB.

Brah, do you even Java?

Windows 3.1 for sure! ;) An even better choice is MS-DOS, software will have exclusive access to all your hardware, no more sharing resources!
