Opinions on fresh bought pc?

I just found this cheap pc from a friend for a bout 400$ he needed the money badly.

What do you think how will it perform in new games?

Specs:

Proc : Amd fx 8320

Ram : 16gb Crucial ballistix 1600mhz

HDD: Seagate 1tb

SSD: Patriot blast 120gb

Graphics card: XFX R9 280x 3gb

Psu : Fortron hexa plus 500w

Mobo : Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P AM3

Case:Zalman Z3

Tell me if i can replace something or upgrade,and what fps will i get in latest games.Im planing to play on medim to high settings 1080p.

Not bad. Buy it, will give you decent framerates on 1080p with some titles on ultra, 60fps. It's worth 2 times more than that if brand new IMHO.

 

EDIT: Yeah, confirmed, it will play newest games buttery smooth at high settings. And 2 year old games will give you an ultra settings with decent framerates too.

any quality 500w power supply will be fine. the one you have might cause a fire or short out a component if you put a lot of load on it

That is a decent deal for $400.  That is a good little mid-range gaming PC.

 

If you overclock the CPU, you will need a better PSU and it would have been nice to have more power phases on the motherboard.  You can't truly push the CPU on that motherboard, the power delivery (VRM, power phases) won't be able to handle it.

If the power supply works, you don't need to change it.  If you do, you should get a decent unit.  That EVGA unit is not really that good.  I have burned out really shitty PSUs and it has never resulted in a fire or lost components.
