APU and graphics

I'm going to upgrade my processor and all the CPU's compatible with mine are APU's.

My question is: if I have a graphicscard, do the internal-graphics help him or is it just trown away money?

some amd cards can run crossfire with apu, though dont quote me on this lol

 

but i suppose its the low end stuff and you're better off getting a better gpu in the first place

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately
