i have just put in my Installed my first ever graphics card a 980 TI super-clocked!!!

its done and i have done the driver installs and it is detected, so where should i benchmark it? i need a free bench marking tool that ONLY tests the GPU as due to unforeseen bad circumstances i only have 4 gb of ram and an i3 currently, so what should i use to benchmark it?

3dmark firestrike, it includes benchmark for gpu, and cpu

but it bench them seperately, then bench them together, but you'll get your gpu's score anyway

though i cant say if processor doesnt affect gpu's performance, but should be minimal in firestrike's graphics test

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

"ONLY" testing the GPU would be pointless since your system performance in games relies on all of your components working together

unless you just want a number for e-peen

Well, why not run some games :P Benchmarks aren't meant for you to check if things are working or not, but to find the limits of their performance. For a GPU to be tested like that, it also relies heavily on the CPU. Having said those, I think your i3 could limit your overall performance for this card and you wouldn't be getting an accurate result to judge how well your card can do.

Anyway, a widely used and free benchmark would be Unigine's Heaven (and/or Valley)
