There is nothing specifically wrong with it... HOWEVER there was controversy when kingston did a bait and switch on the V300

They changed the components on the product and did not say it anywhere, so some people were getting the model with the shit components after the reviewers all got the better ones

Essentially everyone is boycotting the V300 because of this

just terrible company practice. many completely different products under the same name and reported false specifications.

there are plenty of a-data, sandisk cheap ssd's that perform better
