Cpu vs Gpu upgrade performance/ dollar

Hey guys I am currently using i3 3220 and a gtx 760 2gb.

While on a budget I came across a deal on i7 3770k for $200, this will cost me $150 if i sell my i3

Or should i go for i5 2500k for $120 and get another gtx 760 to sli. this will cost me about $180.

Which will give me more performance per dollar in your opinions.

Depends on what you want to do with it, the i5 might be a better option, also I recommend you just upgrade your GPU instead of SLI because of compatibility issues with games and programs.

You know how it is, the cow goes "moo", the dog goes "woof" and the gamer goes "The PvP is unbalanced."

Sell your gtx 760 and use the money you were going to spend on a cpu and upgrade the GPU.

Grab the i7 now and save up to upgrade the GPU later. That i7 will last you for years yet. i3 and i5 will not. The 760 is still pretty good by today's standards.

Sli is never an ideal option tbh. I say get the cpu and upgrade the gpu later. The 760 is still a very admirable card being only a generation (althought almost 2) old. Also if you do in fact upgrade the gpu later, bottle necking won't be as much of a concern later, arguably.
