Corsair H100i vs 212 EVO - Can I save money?

Hello,

 

I'm using a 2500k with a stock cooler for the moment. I want to overclock it to 4,8ghz if possible. 

So the H100i sells for 120 eu while the 212 EVO sells for 40 eu.

 

Will the 212 be enough for what I want? I can then use the remaining money into a new GPU!

I would go with the H100i if you have the money it allows for some higher overclocks and lower temps

Just keeping this here as a i would go with a watercooler if you have the money. it'll give you better temperatures.

Sorry, this is a bit late, but the H212E is great - I have it set to 'quiet' operation mode and my temps never go above 50 celcius. If I have it to high, the temps stay at 30 celcius during prolonged 100% usage (playing GTA V). My ambient temperature can range from 15 to 25 degrees, however at the time it was 25 or so. It is definately worth to save the money - I don't know how good it is for overclocking, but I'm sure 80 euro is worth 100 or 200 mhz?
