Well, like probably a lot of you guys, I have collected quite a lot of (old) technology over the years. But instead of throwing it away or putting it in a closet where no one can see it, I thought why not putting some stuff on display on a shelve as some kind of decoration.
So I collected some interesting (for me)(old) tech and you can see the result below.

I’m sure not everyone will see this as nice decoration but it is definitely an awesome conversation starter because a lot of the pieces have some kind of interesting story.

I guess more people here have something similar as this! I’m pretty curious what the ltt members tech shelve looks like, feel free to show off your “awesome (old) tech shelf”.

I fees like there should be a Model M on that shelf.

If I had one it would definitely on my desk!

It is just a crap membrane keyboard that has been dropped too many times, I have an older keyboard but I'm to lazy to search for it.

As you asked I named all the items in detail.
Yeah much better as the cardboard glasses.
Please do and show of the result, I'm very interested.

That HDD is pretty cool, is it just acrylic?

I have just cut it from the lid of a plastic container, so it is probably just polyethylene or so.

Does that gba still work ?

Yes it surely does, I still play on it pretty frequently, but the shelf is a pretty nice spot to put it when not I'm playing.

My office has a bunch of old computers setup as decorations. Old apples, ibm components from the 70s/80s and etc. See them at Goodwill here and there for a steal. Some of the old apples go for $1000+

I used some old broken glasses and pulled the filters out of regular cardboard 3D glasses. I just atached the filters with some tape.

They work great and are much more confortable as the cardboard version.
