Gaming Laptop For School

I need a laptop for gaming and to take with me to college. I want it to be light enough to carry around, have good enough performance for all games, be able to hook up to an external monitor, have enough battery for all day, not be loud, and be sub $2000 (USD). Any suggestions?

2000 is not a currency, rupees, dollars, pounds, canadian dollars, aus dollars, 2000 pesos, ... like what is your location and budget in local currency haha

those models should all be portable good gaming laptops that fit in budget

see 2000.. I can get a macbook for less than £2000 .. so knowing your currency helps

I kind of recommend the new Dell xps gaming laptop, easy to carry around and it's got a dedicated card inside

Im absolutely loving my razer blade, but im not sure it would have enough battery life for your needs.

A good solution might be a thin and light without a gpu, and a desktop gpu that always stays at home. The gs30, or razer blade stealth would be good candidates for such a system, as you can plug them into the external gpu when you are at home and need extra power for gaming.
