Runnning new games on MAX Detail @5760x1080. What GPU(s) should I get?

I am currently looking at the GTX 980ti Hybrid, once a bunch of everything is done and purchased. I plan to add another. This is still several months down the line but lets say what we currently have stays the same.

wait for the new stuff coming out. the new cards might have bigger vram so that'll come in handy. 6GB won't cut it at max detail i reckon.

I currently run 2 x R9 390 8GB Club 3d cards in Crossifre mode for Eyefinity 5760x1080p. The performance is excellent. I am extremely pleased with my rig.  I got the Club 3d cards ( a Euro brand) as they were on sale over last Boxing Day. I was nervous about the brand as while they are large in Europe, they are new players in Canada.

Rock solid product. Very happy.

IMO, if you are going 5760x1080p you are looking for a Crossfire or SLI setup. Don't kid yourself here.
