ok so i am upgrading my computer and i need a cheap but good 4th gen intel processor my motherboard of choice is the good old Z87-A  my price range is 300$ and the compatible processors are the following 

 

 4th Generation Core™ i7/Core™ i5/Core™ i3/Pentium®/Celeron® Processors   so i need your help to find the best bang for the buck thank you as always and have a great day Linus Tech Tips community !!!!

i am using it for gaming and i have a 660 ti gigabyte non overclocked i curentley have a amd a8 apu corsair cx 500, Antec One Mid-Tower Gaming ATX Case Black 3X5.25 5X3.5 2X2.5 Front USB3.0 Top Rear 120mm Fans No PSU and ddr3 8g hyper fury x

First, upgrade psu, 2nd, I5+B85/H97 board.

an i5 4690k and i would recommend upgrading the gpu

If you are planning to just play CS:GO then 750 watts plus your current PC specs is a bit overkill in my experience unless your'e going for future-proofing. In my experience the EVGA 650 PSU should do the job fine. https://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-210gq0650
