GPU 100% load for long hours

Is it okay to have my MSI R9 290X to run at 100% load for long hours? I let my CSGO fps to go as high as possible to get the slight advantage over my enemy. Should I cap my fps?

It should autocap at 300, and you should just leave it there It should be fine as long as it has proper cooling

as long as your gpu's temp is cool

and as long as you can afford the power bill

No problem, as long as it stays cool.

 

I use my gpu for a program called "Folding at home" which uses 100% of my gpu all the time for 6+ hours a day. No problem so far after a 3/4 year. My gpu is at most ~65°C warm.
