Just a general poll for the users of LTT, let's see what users mostly go for :)

I myself love me some AC MX-4 for both my CPU's and GPU's.

I use MX-2 for my games consoles thanks to it's fast cure time and it lasts a long time.

The Arctic Silver 5 a guy gave to me free when I bought a motherboard from him.

Arctic silver 5 is my go to. But I do like to use this thermal paste on my clients PCs:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003AVMRQG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It doesn't perform as well as arctic silver 5 but on the other hand it costs so much less. And there is only like a 3C difference from both pastes.

Nice to see a rather unusual paste, never seen it before :)

Honestly most pastes now are mostly pretty close in performance but I'm an MX-4 guy myself.  Although I hear that IC Diamond is pretty good too(thanks Linus).  Haha

Whatever I have from CPU coolers that I have collected. Which is a sizable stack of cooler master and noctua. I just grab the cooler master and use it all up.

Arctic Silver 5 is what my dad uses, so it's what I used for my build as well.

IC Diamond on all current builds.

But that tube is now empty.  So may try Prolimatech next.

IC Diamond is great...until you replace your cooler and find that attempting to remove the paste has scratched the surface of your CPU up like Deadpool's face and your warranty is now void. Way to go, $7 tube of crap that's only 1C better than MX-4 anyway.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

I've used IC Diamond on multiple builds, and have changed or reset coolers using it.  I find that a little hard to believe.  The maximum particle size is 40 microns - any marks would be microscopic.

Sure, it can lighten or remove the product markings, but only if you are super aggressive rubbing the stuff off.

I use Gelid GC-Extreme for my personal rigs and Arctic MX-something on other peoples builds.

GPU drivers giving you a hard time? Try this! (DDU)
