What's the question?

He needs and 80+ Platinum rated, single rail, 500-600w PSU that is also fully modular. @OP, why single rail? I suggest the new RM series either way.

Pretty much what @Volbet said.

Buy why? Why specifically a platinum, single rail, fuily modular 500-600 watt psu?

I want to save electricity as much as possible. I heard weird things about Multi-rail PSUs. Fully modular for easy cleaning and upgrading shtuff. And i heard linus said you can run any single gpu system with a 500 watt psu. :)

Multi-rail psus has had a bad rep because of low quality ones when they first came out.

Now, it is far from that case and it is probably just as good or better than a single rail.

Depending on what you're running, you can get an even smaller psu. Specs?

Why do you need to save on electricity? The difference from bronze to platinum is very small and the price gap between the psus is almost always more than the money saved from using less electricity.

They are built better. Did I say otherwise?

Why such expensive mobo and hdd but a sandisk ssd and xfx 7970? No K series?

Anyway a decent 600w bronze should be good.

You sound mad...I thought this was supposed to be a noob friendly forum

I like the integrated sound of the motherboard, the other PCIe slots are going to be occupied by AVerMedia capture cards because I do alot of video game recording and editing. And im not planning on overclocking

Just get it. not fully modular but those cables you need anyway. its the best performing PSU in the 550-650W range period

its a premium unit that can also run as a 650W @ 80 + gold.so it can run 2 HD 7970 in CF no problems. the fan will spin like once a day even with the psu in full load.so its silent aswell.super flower oem. the new RM series from corsair are a joke compared to this

I'm not at all. I'm just responding to what you posted and your slightly strange part choice.

You're better off with a B85 or H87 mobo and a dedicated sound card if you're not oc'ing.

Alright, sorry for the misunderstanding... I'm just trying to make a well enough PC that would likely last me around 3-5 years, and i dont want to skimp on much of the components

Actually every 80+ Platinum rated PSU will perform so equally, that there is no difference, just pick best looking PSU :)

Electrically, that's actually not true. A good example of this is the Antec Earthwatts Platinum that's based on the group-regulated FSP vs the ATNG build Rosewill Fortress with DC-DC. Both of them are platinum rated; however, the Earthwatts would yield worse voltage regulation (just like every other group-regulated PSU regardless of efficiency) and will see a larger voltage drop as you go up in load.

You are prioritizing your build quite strangely. So I would agree with the others on the that you should look over and revise your build.

As for platinum being build better, that's not true either. It may seem like it does, as due to the fact that production of efficient products is quite a fad, practically most high-end, premium units are gold and platinum efficiency; however, it is possible to get a cheaply build, and yet high efficient PSU.

The Earthwatt Platinum that I had mentioned above, while being a decent mid-range unit, it's not build "better". One example is that it primary capacitor is uses this the Chinese brand, CapXon, that is rated at lower temperatures with a mix of Japanese Caps (NCC) and CapXon on the secondary site of the PSU. The Thermaltake Smart 750 M has full NCC that's rated at 105C, and it offer a DC-DC for regulation of the minor, rails which will yield better v.reg.

Don't put too much priority on efficiency to the point that you ignore other valuable of option and pay a large premium for it.
