Short Film? Kickstarting it?

I have this short film Idea and I have the camera and people. Do you think it is a bad idea to Kickstart it?  I think a budget of $500 is good. Stretch goals?  Backer rewards?  Leave your opinions below. All ideas appreciated.

What are you going to use the money for?

 

Your rewards at each tier are going to be very limited and is what people are interested in.

 

 

You're also going to need to convince people that it's worth their money. So a small sample of what the short film to demonstrate your skills will help.

The money will be used for.  Makeup.  Lighting. Props.  There is a VFX pack I want to get from the Triune Store.

Do you have any previous work? You may need previous work in order for people to be willing to invest in it.

You might not need to show your past experience if you are able to present the idea in a method that sells.  Though you may need to show some work-in-progress to show your potential investors that you are serious.
