GTX 760 vs 950

I think the 760 is faster by a little but I'm not sure about overclocking... after all Maxwell can sustain some pretty hefty overclocks so it's possible after overclocking it would be faster.

950's clocks are faster I think, I've had 2, still have one which is OC'd to 1303MHz and boosts to 1567MHz (EVGA 950 FTW) and can almost keep up with my 2GB 960. I like the 950 and it should perform just as well if not better than the 760. Plus its more power efficient and much newer. The 950 is an incredible card for the money

usually Nvidia cards go down 1 tier per new cycle 680=770=960 for example so the 760=950

The performance of the GTX 760 is quite close to that of the GTX 960, so I'd imagine it's significantly faster than the 950.

I have both. If you're going for a single 950, go for the 760. Good luck finding one though. They are pretty hard to come across. The 760 is slightly better than the 950.

I did do some benchmarks. (both are slightly OC'd)

Unigine Heaven Scores-

GTX 760- Score- 1074 FPS- 42.6

GTX 950- Score- 959 FPS- 38.1

My GTX 760 overclocked like crazy and played GTA V at 1080 medium settings at 60FPS I don't have a GTX960 but those extra 2gb would help unless you get a 4gb 760

Unigine Heaven Scores-

GTX 760- Score- 1074 FPS- 42.6

GTX 950- Score- 959 FPS- 38.1

If you have enough, go for the 960. Is it 4gb VRAM? If so go with that.
