If the card is in good condition, and the price is right. Then yes... yes it can be super worth to buy used.

I bought a superbly good condition 270X for 60$, great freaking deal, card works great.

it can be good and bad. if it says it has not been Mined on or overclocked it has probably been overclocked and mined on.

make sure there also wasn't a crack pipe in the computer. xD

but in conclusion a used graphics card is not that bad. after all JayzTwoCents used to buy used Computer components and he said they worked fine.

Depends how much time you have to shop around. Don't under evaluate your time. You have to sift through all the garbage. You have to call and email everyone. Go check out the card and hope it works.

If your a kid trying to put together a rig, is a great option. If you have other demands on your time then not so much.

Make sure you know what stuff is worth. 90% of people on Craigslist over value their stuff. By a lot.
