What Programs/Games Use Tons of RAM

I have 8gb of ram and i am wondering is it worth upgrading? What types of tasks use a lot of ram?

Other than video / photo editing, really not most consumer uses. If you're a heavy multi-tasker 16GB's of RAM might be a good choice but it's not necessarily needed.

GTA V, Google Chrome, some other AAA games. Upgrade if you notice your RAM maxing out.

Ha, I have a game that is like a ram stress tester due to its massive memory leaks... Batman Arkham Knight has used 12.6GB's out of my 16GB's of ram before. No lie... The game is f*cking resource hog. It uses 3.3gb of vram on my R9 280X which I don't even know how that is possible.

GPU: XFX RX 7900 XTX

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
