The Division - Que Simulator 2016

Logged into the Division this afternoon and was treated to pretty much this exact scene.

Basically the very first tutorial mission in The Division requires you to interact with a laptop to finalize your character.

Unfortunately Ubisoft didn't make this a separate instance from the rest of the world and only one person can interact with the laptop at a time.

 

Logged out in less than a minute, figure I'll try again after work.

Things should be pretty dead at 3am.

what did I say about pre-ordering ubisoft mmo months ago

I don't even know why people were so hyped about this game. More online-only DRM scheme which means you won't be able to play a few years from now. Plus , it's just another open-world Ubisoft game. I think we've had enough of those to last a decade right now.

I'd been itching for a loot shooter, haven't played one since Borderlands 2 (BL the Pre Sequel came out too soon after BL2 imo so I skipped it).

I haven't bought anything from Ubisoft since FarCry Blood Dragon so I'm not burnt out from all their open world systems.

 

A couple friends got codes when they bought new video cards so I'm looking forward to do some co-op with them this weekend or next.

I just logged off and on again, got put into a server with only a few people on it and the activation was no problem - a matter of 40 seconds or so.

With people blocking the entrances/exits of hubs and safe houses I imagine they'll remove collision between players in those areas.

Everything I know about this game is just Borderlands in US, and I hated Borderlands.

Sigh Ubisoft...

I bet the console versions are just fine though.
