Any super easy to install, quiet, lga 1150 coolers?

Deadpool2onBlu-Ray

I am looking for a cpu cooler that is small( I have a asrock microatx mobo with 4 ram modules. It also has to be quiet and also fairly easy to install. Any suggestions? I am running in an h97 chipset lga 1150

About as small as you can get while still getting reliable cooling performance.

I would look into Noctua.

Noctua is love. Noctua is life.

Edit: What kind of a case are you running? That is important than the motherboard and such.

What kind of CPU are you cooling? I had a small, silent one that performed exceedingly well on my G3258 while being very quiet, but when I used it as an interim cooler on my 4790K after upgrading and while waiting for my H7, it struggled mightily to keep up. SilenX Effizio EFZ-92HA3

Install was simple, just plastic push-pins, no backplate because of how little it weighs, and a rubber ring that the heatsink clips to. Word of warning: if you don't think you're about to snap your motherboard in half while snapping the heatsink into place for the first time, you're probably not pushing hard enough. Install time is a few minutes.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

You can throw in Noctua's largest cooler without any kind of clearance issues. Though, I'd probably just recommend either the U12S, or their U14S.

Its a 4590. I know I don't "need" a cpu cooler because I am not overclocking but the intel one is loud and ugly, and does not cool it that well. It is pretty much always on high rpm

I don't think it will fit since I have 4 ram modules and it is a small motherboard

Know the exact model name? I'll look up the compatibility for you.

Can you replace the stock fans with other noctua fans? the brown ones do not do it for me. ;)

Noctua has a Redux line that is grey in color.

Other Noctua coolers I'd recommend are NH-U9S and NH-D9L. They both use 92mm fans. The replacement Redux fan is NF-B9 1600 PWM.
