Put in a 240/250/256GB SSD instead of a hard drive. SSD is mandatory for 2016

Folding for LTT since April 2016.

I would...it's cooler master. For a low end rig, it's perfectly fine. I have the K350 with a 500W PSU and it hasn't blown up

Do you think if he wanted to it would be smart to just sell him my CPU+Mobo+RAM along with my GPU? (Im getting a 5820K rig sooner or later)

It would be about the same for CPU/Mobo/RAM (what i would sell compared to what he would get)

Ok if you think its better sounds good. I might do a poll later tonight

Yeah. I looked up which one is better between the 6300, i3 and the athlon. The Athlon has the best price to performance ratio and is better for overclocking. I put in the cm cooler because the default is crap

Fairly good. Few things for change...

  • Consider upping to a i3 6100. As long as you can may the small amount more for the prosessor, motherboard and ram (although at this point ddr4 is closing in on ddr3 price wise). It will give you better preformance, more future comparability and skylake bragging rights (who doesn't love that ;)
  • I get why you have chosen a single 8gb stick of ram. It leaves room for expansion. However, unless you have serious plans on doing content creation or if you are an extreme power user, don't bother. Just get two 4gb sticks.
  • The case and power supply are fine, but that is all they are. There is not much room for expand ability because of the low wattage. I never like to reccomend cheap or included PSUs. Just check that has its continuous wattage and not just peak wattage and you will probably be fine. If you want somthing a bit better look at the corsair cx series supplies and seasonics OEM units as well as the fractal design core 1000 or somthing similar
  •  Maybe look at an SSD. Even if it is a cheap 60gb one for your OS and literally almost nothing else, it is worth it.
  • That monitor is small. It will end up being annoying and you will want to upgrade pretty quick. I reccomend a 24" 1080p 60htz as a minimum

hope I helped :)

If you're using it for boot no more than 120 is needed(**in most cases) but if you're thinking about skipping a mechanical HDD 250 is pretty much the minimum but with that said, mechanical hard drives, 1TB, are super cheap these days
