            I am looking for a good antivirus , i know norton ,and mcfee are very mainstream. 

            anyone suggest one???

i run microsoft security essentials and malwarebytes

 

barely tell they there and ive had no probs. install the same setup on families and friends pc's with no complaint

If ur hell bent on X, dont ask for X vs Y suggestions

if cost doesn't matter I hear that bitdefender is a really good antivirus.

There's already lots of posts of this.... anyway. Avast. I use security essentials but it's not the greatest thing in the world...

 

 

EDIT: Actually, in my opinion, common sense is the best antivirus.
