CM Thunder M

NIC ROBERTOOO

Hey guys, i was looking at the CM Thunder M 620W PSU for an upcoming build. It looks like an attractive option: modular cables and flat black cables, all for an attractive price. Has anyone heard anything good about it? Or an recommendations for similar PSU's around the same wattage for around $100?

Cheers

I don't recall the specific platform (GPA?), but it's below the DSA-II unit from CWT that is the Corsair CX from what I had remember. It's cheaply made. I would recommend something else.

What are you powering?

The CX600M should be more than plenty for that system. Is it $109 AUD? For $10 more you can get a better build unit: http://www.mwave.com.au/product/sku-aa49474-seasonic_g_series_550w_power_supply_atx_eps_80plus

If you are on a smaller budget, the Antec VP550P is an excellent unit as well that's indy-regulated as well made by Delta Electronics for $80 AUD; however, since you mentioned the cables, you more than likely won't like this PSU (uses multi-color cables with only the 24-pin cable that is sleeved).

Do you have plans to SLI?
