Farcry primal crap graphics

So I just loaded up farcry primal for the first time and graphics maxed out at 1440p

are shockingly bad 

worse than farcry 4 and I'd even go as far to say that farcry 3 looked better 

anyone know what is going on with this game ?!

also the graphics menu sucks

no aa apart from fxaa 

and no fur simulation that we had on farcry 4 

mint looks like a crap version of fallout4s graphics 

many one else think it's bad ?!

Well look at fallout 4 the graphics are from 2008 it looks like. It's the way of the new games

So other than looking like pap, how does it perform, stable high fps? low fps? Or even worse and does it have stutternig issues?

Total Biscuit has two videos out on the subject, even with the launch driver performance is worse in Primal while looking worse imo than FC4 does.

Well this sucks, I thought I read a post from ubisoft a while back saying they were actually focussing on PC's and unlocking their potentiol. Obviously that was all talk.

Yeah, the whole color spectrum is kind of gross too and the depth of field looks terrible and can't be turned off.

Everyone complains about Fallout 4 bugs - I have no issues from launch

People are saying Primal graphics are crap and it's buggy - I see a huge graphical improvement over 4 and compared to Primal on consoles and have had 0 issues as well.

 

The only thing I don't like is the colors at some parts. Why does my screen get slightly darker when I crouch? Not helpful when sneaking....

You'll get SMAA back with Single-GPU mode.

You lose it in Multi-GPU configurations.

 

Game runs okay for me, but not ideal where I'd have thought it would be.

Game is really early, I see some patch's fixing a small amount of performance, but not game changing.

So much foliage in the game, creating even more tiny shadows no doubt,... would this alone justify the drop from FC4 performance.

I left things at Maxed out 1080p spec, but then reduced shadows to High and called it a day,... will see how patches treat the game over time.
