In the Netherlands there is a law that prohibits companies to do this. If you order something online they HAVE to take it back (in mint condition ofcourse only) within 14 days. I'd look online if brittain has something similar...

I am not sure, if England falls under those EU laws, but the law says, that you have the right to return any product purchased online within 14 days, if the package is still intact.
