XBOX ONE TAKING OVER US???

okkkkkkkkkkkkkk this is bad... xbox one is now supposed to come out with regular part upgrades.... what is this!? now the xbox one will now be equivalent to the pc... with interchangeable parts and any-time upgrades so why would anyone want to go to pc if they can get a console and then just get part upgrades????!!!

Because "part upgrades" means adding a bigger hard drive, maybe I/O modules. 

 

they will be unable to upgrade memory, or any processing unit of any kind. 

 

mainly because it uses a normal 2.5" drive, which is not proprietary, while any other parts have to be made specifically for the XBO, which is really expensive, especially considering most won't do it.

On a serious note, the upgrades I guarantee you are very expensive.

Yeah, the upgrades would be very expensive. Also, the console itself will cost more. If they allow you to change inter parts, they cant cut as many costs

Be pointless, what makes consoles perform so 'well' for such bad hardware is because the delopers have no variables. Changing that infrastructure greatly would severly decrease the games quality.

A dual core i3 beating an eight core jaguar Tha games are optimized for by the developer?lol nonsensical indeed, if the i3 had ht most programs don't utilize that, the 950 is neck and neck with the ps4, but slightly faster than the xbone

Irrelevant, ps4 locked at 30 fps, if at best i3 is 2 fps?better, also that video is ten months or so old, my comment was about the i3 gtx 950 (video used 750ti) destroying consoles which it clearly doesnt

While I agree with you, the PS4 isn't locked to 30 fps. It depends on the game. Tons of games run at 60 on it.

I thought Witcher was locked at 30fps, I didn't mean the whole catalog,  yeah I agree,  I've got a 3500 dollar gaming rig, but almost always play on ps4,

I own 1 game for my PS4, bloodborne. What is the point of owning any others at the moment? I don't play the new CoDs and there is no exclusives that matter yet. Why would you be playing a ps4 with no exclusives over a $3500 gaming rig?

i can build a gaming pc with a overclock cpu and a 750ti for £300 i can play games do web ect with out a issue and have better fps and qulaity setting than a xbox or ps4 so why would you spend £300 on a box than can barly play games as it is

i used to own a xbox 1 i sold it got £300 for the lot and spend it on pc upgrades i sugest to anyone else to do same! unless you use ur ps4 or xbox to play exclusive titles

Lol, yeah I dunno, I have wiiu xbone and ps4 too, but play ps4 only, mostly cuz all my pc nerds switched to ps4 too, only game I was looking forward to on pc was the division, but I think they said it'll be set to be the same as ps4 in graphics, so I'm playing it on ps4

Really it was the right decision based on the consumer response, the xbox one is outselling 360 and the PS4 is one of the fastest selling consoles ever.

It won't be like a PC though, you couldn't do as much changing inside the console.  It doesn't get the same bondage as a PC since it will never be as unique as the PC platform
