Ah I found the 4 conductor version but can't seem to find the ebay one but it's nice and thin for headphone cables:

That looks good. 

Ideally it would be 3 conductor, but i could just let the 4th one do nothing

yeah that type of cable will give the strength u need but  remember u will use one for each chanel and the mesh for the gnd on each chanel
