Recabling headphones

I need to re cable some headphones, Pioneer SE-L40.

What kind of wire should I buy to make the cable with?

I just need basic thin copper insulated wire, then I will sleeve the wires together.

I am making my own cable, and dont know what the wire Im looking for is called.

I need just copper insulated wire, but I dont know what thickness, or what the name for it would be.

Any thickness should work, not like it's going to carry a big amount of amps, you could try to use two coax cables

No, that cable is not flexible enough and because of not being coax, it will catch a lot of distortion

You can try using the one I linked earlyer

You'll have to cut one end, split cut off a piece of wire to use for conecting the other speaker, and solder it

But why not just make my own cable?
Its simple, just 3 copper wires.

I just need to know the type of wire I need.

You can get bulk supplies of cables that are individually shielded, I can't seem to find one from before when another user asked but this was one of the other ones also:

Electromagnetic interference will make a horrible sound experience, you need something that' ll provide an insulation for that

So the things I linked would not work well?

And would there be interferance issues due to lack of sheilding?

Potentially since the individual conductors are not shielded from each other there are ones out there that are individually shielded but I can't seem to find the previous link to them as of right now.

The only individual ones I can find are pretty thick, like 22 gauge or thicker

Use a premade one and cut it to your need
