I'm toying around with the idea of what it may look like to use a PCIe SSD for OS and apps and re-allocating one of my SATA SSDs as a cache drive for Adobe (of course, while still using a regular HDD for permanent storage of projects and such). Anyone here have experience with a similar setup?

If what I'm posting has already been posted, I'm sorry.

My dad's previous workplace used PCs with an 840 evo as an adobe scratchdisk, and that was all the SSD was used for. Now @0ld_Chicken owns that SSD it if I remember correctly :P

I'd be interested in seeing the results as well, I've been playing with the idea of dropping ssd's in there as scratch-disks because honestly... my workstation is gimped by its purely hdd storage structure xD

Yup! Still works great as a boot drive on my gf's pc.

To OP. I don't use Adobe much but I use ssd anywhere I possibly can. My only HDD is used via USB 3.0 only when I need it
