Hey!

I Was wondering what CPU Cooler i should get

My CPU Is : 4770

No Budget

hyper 212 evo. Your chip can't overclock, so you don't have to worry about extra heat. Get this cooler and run the fans a little slower for silence.

Nah, the 212 evo is a very versatile cooler that can pull off some overclocks. If you want some headroom for overclocks on an unlocked chip, this should work http://phanteks.com/PH-TC14PE.html

Depends on what you upgrade to. With no knowledge of that, we can't really give you any advice.

Lets for eg, i get a 6700k and asus 170Pro

Ya the 212 will work just fine for that, since it's still a 115x socket. 212 supports basically all modern sockets.

Is Upgrading to the GTX 970 EVGA good for gaming?

Yes. Very. Many people will say that the 390 is a better deal, but if you are down for sacrificning 4% performance for better drivers and heat output, then the 970 is the right card.

At the 970 price point, I would definitely recommend the R9 390 instead.

How come it has $5 less performance

Uhh assuming you mean percent there and are taking about Hackentosher's post, if you read it carefully he is saying that the 970 actually has less performance, which is correct. And the VRAM issue isn't moot either: The R9 390 has 8GB where the 970 effectively has only 3.5GB. Hackentosher is also correct in saying that the R9 390 is hotter, but that doesn't really matter that much since it will still stay well within safe temps. It's not like they run so hot they actually regularly break.

Either one is fine of course, it's not like the 970 is bad, but I would just recommend the 390.

Then why do u have a 970 Windforce?

Because I purchased it before the 390 came out.

How about the 212X cooler? That's newer than the 212 EVO that Cooler Master has recently released. You should check it out.

It should be, but I've actually been totally unable to find it available in anything other than a 2 fan variety from HK for $70, and for that money you could get a much better cooler.

what do u recomend .

Well again, since your current CPU isn't overclockable, spending more money than the $30 that will get you a 212 Evo is probably not worth it, but if money is truly no object and you are looking to upgrade your CPU soon, then something like the Noctua NH-D15 is about as beefy as air coolers get, or you could look into getting a 240mm like the H100i (or hell, even one bigger than that).

Keep in mind though that while a budget cooler like the 212 Evo has great case compatibility because it's relatively small, high-end tower coolers like the NH-D15 require a LOT of clearance in the case and often low-profile ram. And liquid coolers require that your case support a rad of their size: no point in buying a cooler with a 240mm cooler if your case can't support a radiator that size.
