the extreme gaming is marginally faster but keep in mind these are estimated values and are not a fact.

I'm not quite sure which one is better, they both cost the exact same amount.

One is watercooled, the other isnt

i'd go for the Aio one

This isn't always the case but Watercooled ones sometimes have lower temps then aircooled thus letting you have more room to overclock

I was referring to the GeForce GTX 980Ti Xtreme Gaming, not the GeForce GTX 980Ti Xtreme Gaming WaterForce. The WateForce one is £60 more expensive, would it be worth it then? Considering I do not plan to do some crazy overclocks if I even end up overlocking at all.

Oh, my bad. Well the refrence one is basically the "newer" version of the G1 gaming so you should see a small improvement in terms of preformance. But feature wise the Xtreme looks sick with the feature of "rgb" fans

you should be able to get a nice overclock as well

If they're the same price, then go for the Xtreme one. It's a step above the G1 in Gigabyte's product lineup, and the LED rings on the fans look fantastic too. It is more than a dual-slot card, so make sure you have room for it as well.

That's what I though, but now you've peaked my interest for the WaterForce one, do you think it would be worth an extra £60?

Eh, i'd go for a EVGA hybrid if the price is about the same b/c i've actually worked and used a hybrid b4 and its pretty damn good

If not then yea go for the waterforce one, you will have lower temps and less noise

I just looked at it, the price for the Hybrid and WaterFroce are exactly the same. But the WaterForce one seems better.

Core Clock: 1216MHz, Boost Clock: 1317MHz, Memory: 6144MB 7200MHz GDDR5, Stream Processors: 2816, SLI Ready, VR Ready, PhysX/CUDA Enabled, 3 Years...

£629.99*

Core Clock: 1140Hz, Boost Clock: 1228MHz, Memory: 6144MB 7010MHz GDDR5, Stream Processors: 2816, SLI Ready, VR Ready, PhysX/CUDA Enabled, 3 Years...

Was: £649.99\£629.99

I guess in the end it does come down to my choice. Thanks for all the help, I appreciate it.

the waterforce is faster but have you consideresd this one https://www.overclockers.co.uk/zotac-geforce-gtx-980ti-amp-extreme-edition-6144mb-gddr5-pci-express-graphics-card-zt-90505-10p-gx-091-zt.html

i have one it is quite and faster than both. only downside it is huge.

No, I've only been looking at Gigabyte and Asus cards, since I've used them before and I know they are good. I guess I'm kind of biased towards other cards. However the clock speeds are higher by a small margin so I think if I ever to get the WaterForce one it would be better since I could OC it to even higher than that, and the WaterForce one £30 so I think the WaterForce one is better.
