Direct X 12 questions

Hey there, 

 

I'm trying to find an update on everything dx 12.

Direct X 12 to my knowledge was released alongside windows 10, which has been released on the 29th of July.

The latest games I've been playing are Rise of the Tomb Raider and Tom Clancy's The Devision Beta.

 

Now these games were released well over 6 months after the release of windows 10, so I would assume they are running direct x 12, but performance wise, I'm not really impressed?

 

Also some video's on youtube suggest that direct x 12 has yet to be released, so what's up with that?

 

I'm also curious about 2 things:

 

1) If Dx 12 is already released, how would I go about setting up a multi GPU setup using my dedicated GTX 770, and my integrated HD4600?

 

2) How would I go about setting up my existing 770 with a new yet to be decided gpu?
