CPU is always at 100%

Most of the time at any given moment if I open up task manager I can find my laptop maxing out my CPU. I was wondering if there was a list of programs I should have open and which programs I can afford to close, meaning Microsoft programs.

I do a check about every month and so far nothing has come up, but ill check using yours.

No its not, its on the balanced power setting.

I don't torrent, but if that's the case would i find it and get rid of it?

Its a bunch of programs that look like they are native programs, so its not like it one single program but just a bunch of tiny programs.

My cheap HP 15 with a dual core Celeron has a similar issue. In my case the CPU simply doesn't have the power to handle the background tasks so I have to minimize the bloatware to basically nothing.


What processor does your laptop have in it? Have you tried closing as many non-essential task as possible?
