A question.

I have a Hyper 212 Evo air cooler, how easy should it be for me to twist it while it's mounted?

Should it be mounted and screwed so thight that I couldn't twist it unless I use a lot of force?

You don't  want to over tighten it. I'd just move the fan orientation.

I'm asking this so I would know if I have it screwed tight enough since if it's not enough then there would be air between the cpu and heatsink which would result in higher temperature and mine is a bit hot.

 

Let me rephrase my question, how much strength should I need to use to move heatsink out of it's place.

you don't need to move it out of place to "test" it, just tighten it but not death tight

They have to be just tight. But not to crack everything..

the 212 has some "twist" play after its mounted

The way 212 mounting bracket works, is that it has hinge in the middle. It will always twist bit. Check your load temps if you are unsure if its tight or not.
