I am looking to buy a mechanical keyboard but I am living in a place where people don't even know what mechanical keyboards are let alone selling them
A few months ago I tried a friends blackwidow (old one) since linus always was in favour of them but didn't really like the experience, probably because some keys were sticking or blackwidow does not use true cherry mx blues (so I have read)
However when I manipulated myself and thought which one I would like.... I like to have light keys which I can press with the minimum force
After a lot of searching I found a guy selling steelseries 7g pin pack (so he claims) for $70
I currently use a4tech g800, I know crappy keyboard but does the job, and I have used Logitech g15 and g19 so my question is will the black keys in 7g be lighter than the keyboards I named or should I just wait for a red or brown??
any other advice???

You want red's or browns then for minimum force (if you must have a mechanical)

Something like a Cooler Master Quickfire Rapid, if you don't want the numpad) or a CM Trigger.

And no they won't be, blacks are the heaviest keys (to push that is)

Or you could even forget about mechanical and go chiclet (also requires minimal force), although many people on here are mechanical snobs and wouldn't recommend anything else for some unknown reason even though mechanical vs membrane/scissor is entirely opinion and what you feel more comfortable with.  I'm using a Logitech K360, and its the best keyboard I have ever used (including all mechanical switches)

I got a "Like new" Corsair K60 from Amazon warehouse deals for $75US. Has Mx reds, but no backlighting, looks great and high end with the aluminum chassis. Palm rest feels great. You can go cheaper by buying less than like new condition, but who knows what kind of porn sites were typed on those.
