How to force games to use windows set ICC ?

mitsosvazelos84

Hey guys ,

I have calibrated my monitors to my preference , and when I start a game on fullscreen it loads its own ICC which makes the gamma/contrast/colors feel way off . Is there any way to force my own ICC to be displayed at all times ?

I have tried CPKeeper and Color Sustainer but they don't work :/

thank you in advice

Running games in borderless fullscreen should work.

When the game enters full screen it takes over completly the windows desktop settings, resolution, colors etc.

It really depends on how it's implemented. If its done through IDXGIOutput then it should be possible to fix. If its done through a pixel shader then your SOL. Or the last possible technique is through blending which also means you're shit out of luck.

The first technique to my knowledge will only work in fullscreen mode.

The last 2 techniques will work regardless of windowed or fullscreen so if the options effect anything in windowed mode then you know its one of the last 2.
