I think Linus did a video on this actually. Makes no difference, just has an effect on dust build up. I think push is the cleaner one. ... or is pull easier to clean yourself, hm I can't remember now.

I personally prefer pull. Much easier to blow out/ hoover the Rad. Temps have no significant difference unless you Push Pull even then it's only a few degrees but then you have extra noise.

A push setup and a pull setup will not have any difference in air flow and temps, since the amount of air being moved through the rad is the same, regardless of the setup. A push pull setup will offer better airflow and temps, since there are fans on both sides of the rad. but makes it thicker so you need to know if your case can fit a push pull setup without any clearance issues.

For my pc I have a 240m rad at the top of it, originally with the fan under it pulling air through. A week or so I changed it around to the fan instead blowing air up through it as exhaust. I think push is better for me in terms of temp and silence. Push/pull is best performance though

But the air blowing through does the heat extraction...

 

It doesn't really affect temps, but having pull makes it easier to get out dust. Push makes it prettier when fans are spinning though, so that's what I use.

Tip to those that are new on LTT forum- quote a post so that the person you are quoting gets a notification, otherwise they'll have no idea that you did. You can also use a tag such as @Ryoutarou97 (replace my username with anyone's. You should get a dropdown after you type the "@")to send a notification, but quoting is preferable.

In theory neither should be better in terms of cooling potential, although I find pull to make more sense because regardless of whether you are pulling air into or out of the case, the back pressure will always be against the fan blades, and not against the radiator.
