Posted February 15, 2016 I was thinking about upgrading to the 6890k but with the price is a bit steep to me. And since I have an APU I would have to get a graphics card... I was thinking of getting a 280x because I'm not really worried about DX12 performance or slightly faster rendering of whatever. My ~$200 USD build: AMD A8-7600 G. I think you should just get a graphics card first, and then upgrade the CPU since you'll see performance gains faster. As far as I know, there will be 6950x, 6900k, 6820k & 6800k (thanks to supposed leaks from Broadwell-E, if you're talking about that.). He/she APU, so guessing AMD here. I would definitely upgrade to a Broadwell-E chip if I had an A8-7600.
