What specs you hoping to get? I'm building a case made from lego and I'm gonna upgrade my GPU to a 770

I've got an 8 core xeon. 16 gigs of ram, and a 290x. It's a SFF build so in that light, it's kinda special, but there's faster things around. My laptop is a 17" maxed out Macbook Pro. In that light, it's special, but there's faster lighter things out there.

Dam dude... Mind giving me your address.. To steal everything

4690k/gtx 960/8 gigs of some pny ram that's getting replaced soon.

Mostly playing Things like World of Tanks and Warframe.

Coming from a system with a q6600 im really enjoying full 60fps,I've waited far too long for it.

Just came from an xfx 6770,pretty sure my cpu was bottlenecking it and it was loud as hell(small fan and missing a blade)

Did the job though, most things it wasn't held back in it ran pretty well.

If it wasn't so annoying swapping drivers back and forth id pop it in and see how it does with an up to date cpu.

i3 4170 until I get a Xeon E3-1231v3, R9 290 from XFX and 16GB of RAM in a Silverstone SG13.

I'm working on a 5.22L chassis though, it's going to house the Xeon, 16GB of RAM, my 500GB SSD, an SFX PSU and either an XFX R9 Nano or a Sapphire R9 380 Compact.

I got it for free from a friend who used it with a 6300 and he got way better performance than me :P

How well does the 4170 hold up? A friend of mine just ordered an i3 6100.

What i was going to get until i found a 4690k used.

Good little CPU. Holds up to my 290 very well unless the game is very CPU intensive. It's also pretty good at CAD and editing, which I do a lot of.

Playable? No, it gets playable framerates in every game. The only games you can see it lag behind (but not at all unplayable) is in GTA V, ARMA, and Civilizations V.

Looks very "Ho Hum" but it means serious business.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

Make sure you buy the 4Gb variant!

OR actually just buy a 970 since a 770 now costs as much as a new 970.
