New SSD, now computer won't boot

I got a new SSD for my OS.

Imaged it properly, booted from it, all good.

But when I went to put it on a drive sled, inside my case and button up everything, the computer won't boot.

It runs and sometimes shuts down after a few seconds. Other times it just doesn't post.

I tried plugging in the old OS drive and it still won't post.

 

Any idea?

what do you mean you "imaged it properly"

 

did you do a clean install the proper way?

I used Macrium to clone the the old drive to the new drive

Why didn't you just do a clean install on your SSD?

I thought it would be easier to just clone over than to attempt to do a clean install without an OS disc. I had 8.1 but upgraded to 10

So the OS was Windows 10?

 

Doesn't Windows 10 have a problem with duplicating/imaging drives?

I redid the gpu and ram, and it worked once. But now it won't re-boot... =( Should I try undoing the ram and gpu again?

It's working now.

 

Did 1 stick of ram and integrated gpu, then added each piece and finally it worked... Weird...

Figure out if one of your ram sticks is bad, run memtest if you can
